The program supports parents to understand emotional regulation and provides them with skills in emotion coaching, which is recognising, understanding and managing their own and their children’s emotions.

The program is for parents who would like to understand and connect with their children on a deeper level.

It Takes Two to Talk® is The Hanen Program® designed for parents of young children (birth to five years) with language delays. The program targets early communication, teaching parents practical strategies to help their children learn language naturally throughout their day together.

It teaches parents step-by-step how to become their child’s most important language teacher.

More Than Words® The Hanen Program® is for parents of young children on the autism spectrum or who have social communication delays. Parents learn specific, research-based strategies to support children’s social communication and play skills, while also connecting and having more fun together.

The program shows parents how to use everyday routines and interactions that they already have together with their children to help make communication easier for the children, help them connect more easily with others, make friends and experience less frustration.
