More Than Words® The Hanen Program® is for parents of young children on the autism spectrum or who have social communication delays. Parents learn specific, research-based strategies to support children’s social communication and play skills, while also connecting and having more fun together.

The program shows parents how to use everyday routines and interactions that they already have together with their children to help make communication easier for the children, help them connect more easily with others, make friends and experience less frustration.
